Exploration and Production

Marathon's exploration activities focus on adding profitable growth to existing core areas in the United States, Equatorial Guinea, Libya and the North Sea. The Company is also developing new core areas in Angola, accessing acreage with significant exploration potential in Indonesia, and is carrying out technical studies that could lead to the exploration for hydrocarbons in the Ukraine.

Marathon's production operations supply crude oil and natural gas to the growing world energy market. Located in seven countries, production operations are focused in the U.S., Africa and Europe.
